There is a persistent effort in Washington DC to enact laws against the interests of the people regarding many things. This includes dietary supplements. Here is the latest act: "NDI Draft Guidance is a Big, Fat Gift to Big Pharma". Your freedom to consume the vitamins and other supplements you now maintain your health with while on a diet from a micronutrient depleted food supply exists because of the "Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act—DSHEA" which was passed in 1994. The protections of this law is under constant threat in Congress, by the FDA and the Department of Agriculture.
